POLICE officers investigating an incident of criminal damage in Basildon last month have released an image of a man they want to identify.

A video doorbell was damaged and taken from an address in the area of Sellars Way, Finches Chase, and Mundells Drive at 10.15pm on 4 December.

Then at around 10.35pm on 22 January two vehicles were also damaged and police believe the two incidents are linked.

A police statement says: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.

"Please quote the crime reference number 42/182737/24.

"You can let us know by submitting a report on our website or by using our online Live Chat service which is available 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week.
