POLICE are investigating after it was reported a brick was thrown from a bridge over the A127 at Laindon.

A woman was driving Londonbound from Basildon to Laindon when the brick was thrown down onto her vehicle from a footbridge between the Noak Bridge junction and the Fortune of War roundabout between 10.45am and 11.30am last Monday (14 August).

The roof of her car was damaged but she wasn't injured.
