Canine capers as cops and council organise free advice event

THE weekend will bring an event aimed at helping people keep better control of their dogs.
Organised by Basildon Council together with Essex Police the event will take place at Wat Tyler Country Park on Pitsea Hall Lane on Saturday, 25 September from 10am to 1pm.
Advice will be available on dog theft protection, responsible dog ownership, dog law, wildlife and rural crime.
In addition free dog waste bags will be distributed and there will be free microchip checks and free microchipping.
