Candidates all declared for general election

ALL candidates have now been declared for the General Election on Thursday, 4 July.

Eight people will contest the South Basildon & East Thurrock constituency and seven will be seeking votes in Thurrock.

South Basildon & East Thurrock:

Basildon and Billericay

British Democratic Party,

Christopher Bateman

Reform UK,

Stephen Conlay

Green,

Stewart Goshawk

Labour,

Alex Harrison

Conservative,

Richard Holden

Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition,

Dave Murray

Liberal Democrat,

Edward Sainsbury
