Arrest quickly follows raid at Wickford store

A MAN has been arrested in connection with a robbery at a shop in Wickford.
It was reported staff at the Co-op in Nevendon Road were threatened and money was stolen at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, 27 April.
Police officers arrested a 37 year-old man from Wickford yesterday evening (Wednesday,l 28 April) on suspicion of robbery.
A statement from Essex Police said: "We are continuing to appeal for anyone who saw what happened or has CCTV or dash cam footage to contact us.
