THE A13 will once again be closed in both directions over the coming weekend with significant traffic diversions in place.

Carriageways between the A128 junction (Orsett Cock roundabout) and the A1014 junction (Stanford-le-Hope) will shut at 9am on Friday, 14 May and are scheduled not to reopen until 5am the following Monday.

Non-local traffic is advised to avoid the closure by using the A127 – see the alternative route diversion map. A diversion for local traffic will be via the A1013 Stanford Road.

Measures now familiar to local residents with the closure of Buckingham Hill Road and traffic streaming via a temporary one way system in Horndon on the Hill will be put in place.
