AFTER a post Easter week that has seen closures of lanes around the Orsett Cock roundabout and evening closures of the westbound A13 between the manorway Roundabout and the Orsett Cock, motorists and residents are reminded that another full closure of the A13 will take place this coming weekend - starting at 9pm on Friday (9 April).

Diversions will be signposted as the closure remains in force until 5am on Monday, 12 April) and the now familiar signpostings and closures of roads including Buckingham Hill Road (and restrictions in Horndon on the Hill) will take place.

Overnight closures will continue next week too, with both carriageways shut on Monday and Tuesday and eastbound on Wednesday and Thursday.

Full weekend closures will take place right through April though respite comes with no work over the Whit Bank Holiday weekend.

As a reminder, the A13 westbound carriageway between the Manorway and Orsett Cock will be closed tonight (Wednesday, 7 April) and tomorrow.
