SOUTH Essex motorists and residents are reminded that the A13 will once again be closed in both directions between the Orsett Cock Roundabout (A128) and the Manorway junction at Stanford-le-Hope (A1014) this weekend.

The closure takes place from 9pm on Friday, 16 April until 5am on Monday, 19 April.

Local traffic will be diverted via the A1013 Stanford Road. Non-local traffic should avoid the A13 and use alternative routes such as the A127.

Buckingham Hill Road will be closed, with access to the Linford tip only available from Linford, and there will be a diversionary system in place on roads through Horndon on the Hill.
